Online Signups End: Friday at Midnight!

Hey Everyone,

As you all know, the Great Boston Beer Marathon is around the corner, and I wanted to fill you in on the latest and greatest developments.

First of all, registration starts at 10:30am on Saturday, June 14th at Tequila Rain. It will go until 2pm, so please make sure you get there by 2pm. Once we leave, there will be no way for you to get your stuff. If you know you can't make it by 2pm, we can work out something, but otherwise, you will be SOL.

Your last day to register will be on 6/12 at midnight. After that, you will need to pay day of with cash and T-shirts cannot be guaranteed. Also, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR ID!!! We can? emphasize this enough. Bars will be the ones checking ID? so there is nothing we will be able to do. We will have Red Bull at a few bars throughout the day, as well as food available at Joshua Tree (formerly Tonic) from 5-6 (I know last year we said the same thing, but we've gotten it all straightened out with the owner), and pizza at The Kells from 8pm until its gone.

Check out our website, beermarathon.net, as it now has the complete list of 26 bars, all finalized, as well at the 10 bars that will be part of the Guinness World Record. Our online store will also be accessible through the site within the next week or so.

The way the Guinness World Record is going to work is we have 10 bars that will be our Official Guinness World Record bars. You will see someone in a yellow jersey and all you need to do is sign in with them as soon as you grab a drink. 3 of them will be Tequila Rain, Lucky Strikes and Jillians, so you'll need to hit up the other 7 bars by 7pm. Otherwise, the day is yours so have fun, be safe and be smart. All bars have a right to deny entry at their discretion, as well as eject people. This includes myself, so there are no exceptions.
